Erebus is a trading card game where you build a deck & fight to the death!(™) You'll craft an army from your card collection and outwit your opponent to become champion of the battlegrounds. 

You'll be reserving your starter kit at a 20% discount from the launch price, which will be delivered on release of the full game. In the meantime, you'll get early access to our closed beta where you can try out 6 prebuilt decks & play against both the computer & other beta players. 

Please note that the game is entirely finished on paper, and all of our development time is now being spent getting everything working properly. Our expected release date is March 2025

This is where the magic happens. Simply put, the cards you purchase in Erebus are yours to do with as you please. Trade them with your friends, display them on your mantle, or hold them closely and whisper "my precious" - the choice is yours! 

Getting started is simple! Just download the client, register for an account, log in and start playing!

Erebus is designed to be simple to pick up, yet complex enough to keep you wanting to play for ages. 

First, you'll build a deck (or select one of our premade decks, in this open beta). This deck can be made of any combination of cards from 1 chosen tribe and neutral cards (shared by all tribes). 

Then, you take it into battle. 

The rules are simple: 

Each card has a mana cost, located in the top left area. This is how much mana you'll need to spend to play that card. 

Starting from 1 mana, you'll gain 1 mana each turn (up to a max of 10). 

You can play as many cards as you have the mana for, in any combination or order of your choosing. 

There are creatures - which are summoned onto the field and fight on your behalf. 

Spells - which cast an effect when played. 

And weapons - which are equipped on you, and allow you to attack directly. 

In addition, you also have a special power (based on the tribe you've chosen) that you can cast each turn.

Each card also has a variety of effects, though we won't spoil what those are just yet.

The physical version of Erebus is finished with around ~250 cards to choose from, but we're still working on the video game version. In this open beta, we have 6 prepared decks with over 60 cards to choose from. More will be released as they're ready and finished - they'll be released even sooner if you throw more money at us.

Yes! Using our digital collectible system, you own each and every card that you purchase - they're yours to do with as you see fit. Trade them, craft your favorite decks, use them to brew coffee - the possibilities are endless!*

*Note: possibilities may in fact have ends. These ends include natural laws of the universe, factors based on practicality, and whatever your friend Steve says. His dad's a navy seal, so what he says pretty much goes.
